The Cold Plunge Barrel combines centuries of tradition with modern cold therapy technology. Reclaimed from Scotland’s historic whisky-making industry, each barrel is meticulously restored by expert coopers in the Speyside Valley. After being deep cleaned and oiled, the barrel is reimagined for cold water immersion, offering a unique, sensory experience. Each barrel is one-of-a-kind, with its own subtle wood markings and colouring, holding up to 400 litres of water at a chilly 3°C.
The stand-alone water chiller is designed to maintain the perfect temperature, while the app-controlled system provides wireless connectivity, enabling scheduling and eco-scheduling for ease. The barrel’s dual filtration system, including a particle filter and UV light, ensures clean and safe water with every use. The result is a fully immersive cold therapy experience that’s as effective as it is beautiful.

International deliveries can take 7 working days, and up to 4 weeks. The cost is £22.99 for orders below £50, £49.95 for orders above.
Returns
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, we provide free 365-day UK returns for all our customers. To initiate your return, simply contact us at team@healf.com, and we'll send you a return slip and help arrange a collection. The item you return must be sent in the same condition as received and inside the original packaging. Once received, we will notify you via email.
For international returns, we unfortunately do not cover the cost. However, we work with an array of carriers and can offer self-posting returns for customers shopping from outside the UK.
Access: When selecting a location for the barrel, it is essential to account for its dimensions, which are 110cm in width and approximately 120cm in depth. Ensure that no obstacles, such as fences, gates, or doors, obstruct access to the chosen area.
Placement: The barrel must be positioned on a flat and level surface. Placing it on an uneven surface, such as York Stone paving or gravel, may cause stress from the water weight (over 400kg) and result in cracks or leaks.
Dimensions: The barrels measure 120cm in height and 100cm in width (120cm with fittings). When filled, they hold 400 litres of water, accommodating displacement when in use.
Maintenance: Filters should be changed every four weeks. For barrels subjected to heavy usage, filters or water may require more frequent replacement. Showering before use is strongly recommended to maintain water quality.
